Homework: Design your Own App

This homework is due on the Friday of Week 8.

You are going to be thinking about designing an app - there are many decisions you have to make such as:

Who is your audience?
What is the purpose of your app?
How much are you going to charge for your app (or is it free?)?
How many pages would your app be?
What colour scheme would you use?

Here is a template you can use to be successful with this activity. You may choose to design your own template and can present your app in any way that you wish.

What am I? Who am I?

This week our homework is to write a few What am I or Who am I riddles.


Here is an example:

She is a really cool teacher,
She works in Year 5,
She is really good with her students,

I came from Italy,

I am like a plate,
What am I?

People look at me all the time,
I have a large vocabulary,
I can teach people a lot of new things,
I can be mysterious, funny, adventurous, romantic, scary, sad,
I tell stories,
I can take people to other worlds,
What am I?
