Holiday Blog Bingo

Have a lovely Easter Holiday, everyone! I hope you get to spend some quality time with your family. Remember to smile!

Holiday Blog Bingo

These are not mandatory but they are fun (and some are challenging) activities.

You can get points for completing these tasks.

Please remember our blogging rules - only publish after showing an adult.

While these all need to be done on your blog, feel free to make posters or do writing instead. You can give me these on the first day of the term.

Complete as many of these holiday activities that you can: The Challenges are extra!

Post a picture of something fun you did in the holidays. Tell us about it.
Write about some of your most cherished memories. Tell us why they are special to you.
Write an A-Z paragraph about a close friend (if you have more than one close friend, you can write about both).
Share about something you love doing (a sport, a hobby). Tell us more about it.
Write an Acrostic poem on your blog using the word Meadowbank. Think of your school when you write this.
Make a piece of Art about something you did in the holidays. Take a picture and put this on your blog. Tell us why you did this piece. Describe it.
Visit Dogonews like you do in school. Add a new blog post sharing who, what, when, where, why, and how. Share the link!
Write a persuasive letter to Miss Cooper about what you really want to do next term. Put this on your blog.
Imagine you could go anywhere in the world. Where would you go and why? Write about this in your blog.
Share a game/app you like to play (whether on a device or outside). You can do this through a video or however you want.
Write in your blog like it is a holiday journal/diary - this means more than one post. Your posts need to make sense though.
With your parents, see if you can find someone else’s blog (not from our class, a student blog would be best). Share the blog you found (in your blog) and tell us what you liked about it.
Write a piece of buddy writing with a sibling/parent/family member. Put this on your blog.
Work on your Reading goal this holiday. Share with us how you did this on your blog.
Create a video/presentation about good comments and what they look like. Put this on your blog.
Be a news reporter. Write/Share about one thing you did in the holidays as if you are reporting for a newspaper or a news channel.
Challenge: Write a creative story using only 100 words. You can not go above or below this number.
Challenge: Tell us about a book you have read (make us want to read it too!). Do this in the form of a video. Post this to your blog.
Challenge: Anzac Day is coming up. Find out as much as you can about this holiday. Share some of this with us (through a video, writing, or any other creative way).
Challenge: Our topic next term is Enterprise. What could you make using only a shower cap, and five clothes line pegs. Use your imagination to think of ideas. Share this with us on your blog.
